Question by grayure: Where are all the liberal Christians?
I don’t mean on R&S.

I was brought up by my Plymouth Brethren-influenced mother, went to a parish church and a methodist chapel as a child, also a house church, two Church of England schools, became a committed Christian as a young adult, went to two or three other churches, apostasised, met quite a few Christians in the meantime who went to various churches, came back to church eventually, got disillusioned after ten years and left, married a Christian daughter of a vicar and finally went to the church i do now, blah blah blah.

However, in spite of all this, and all my involvement with churches and Christians, i have yet to meet a single liberal Christian in real life.

Where the heck are they all?
Geographical region? I live in the English Midlands and i’m from the Golden Triangle, i.e. near London.

Am I missing something here? It’s not in the bible so why do Christians have them?

I follow the bible so where are these bible studies coming from?
@Bill C…..You are taking that verse out of context…. the one before says “Hearers” I think “Study” meant to observe not read.

Hmm, so then it’s safe to say that most Christians think the majority has it wrong, since so many disagree? Then how do you know you’re right? Dont you all use the same argument of faith?

automatically okay to use at worship time inside a sanctuary? Does the energy of every single Christian song really fit worship? To be more exact I am questioning the group Hill Song. They sing wonderful Christian songs, but is their high energy appropriate for inside the sanctuary?

Please note: This is not to knock lifting your hands in worship, and truly getting into the service. This is just about the energy of music as it relates to worship, but not just any worship the worship inside the sanctuary.
And for those of you who want to know I don’t like to hear those funeral marches inside a church either.

No. So many of those “high energy” songs are just Satan making a mockery of Christianity.
